Tampa Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Festival
On March 22 from 12 pm – 7 pm, celebrate and honor Asian Pacific Islander cultures (https://www.tampa.gov/asianpacificfestival) with the Mayor’s Asian Pacific Islander Advisory Council in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. The festival showcases beautiful cultural performances from various Asian countries and islands of the Pacific, delicious food, authentic API merchandise and informational exhibits.
Pride with the Police
Meet the Tampa Police LGBTQ Liaison at the Tampa Police District 3 office on March 28 at 9 am for coffee & conversations. Residents can have open conversations about safety, connect with LBGTQ business leaders, and even join the Safe Place initiative.
Tampa Pride Diversity Parade
The annual Tampa Pride Diversity Parade (https://tampapride.org/parade-2/) will be on March 29 at 4 pm in historic Ybor City. Once again, the parade will wind its way east from the corner of Nuccio Parkway and E 7th Avenue, down E 7th Avenue to N 20th Street where it will turn north to disperse.
Saturday Session: Level Up Your Neighborhood Organization
Whether you're a board member, aspiring leader, or active resident, you don't want to miss the next Saturday Session (https://tampa.gov/saturdaysession) on March 29 at 9 am! Attendees will learn pro-tips from the experts on establishing bylaws, growing membership, nonprofit finances & more. The session will be hosted at the City Center at Hanna Avenue (2555 E Hanna Ave).
NCAA Women’s Final Four Festivities
On April 3, tip-off your weekend with a trip to Tourney Town presented by Capital One (https://www.ncaa.com/womens-final-four/events) . Tourney Town is a FREE festival jam packed with special appearances, interactive games, giveaways, historical and Women's Final Four team displays, photo opportunities, basketball contests, food, licensed merchandise and more! There will be several FREE community events (https://www.ncaa.com/womens-final-four) hosted throughout the April 3 - 6 weekend.
Mark Your Calendar: Tampa Riverfest
The annual Tampa Riverwalk Riverfest (https://www.tampa.gov/events/tampa-riverfest-presented-publix-super-markets/164216) is a two-day, free festival that spans the entire length of the Riverwalk including several parks and features family-friendly activities and events showcasing Tampa's cultural institutions, local musicians and restaurants. Riverfest will take place on May 2-3 this year.
Fix It Fast Program
See a pothole, cave-in or sign obstruction in your neighborhood? Report it to the Fix It Fast (http://tampa.gov/FixItFast) team, focused on delivering timely repairs within 72 hours after a report is filed.
Land Development Code Assessment is Available for Review
The City of Tampa has launched Tampa Forward: Building Tomorrow Together (https://www.tampa.gov/development-coordination/tampa-updates-its-land-development-code) , a two-year project to update the City’s Land Development Code (LDC). The goal is to create an improved code that is more user-friendly. Residents are encouraged to review the assessment (https://www.tampa.gov/document/tampa-ldc-assessment-public-draft-feb-2025-163801) and provide feedback through the online feedback form (https://engage.zencity.io/tampa-fl/en/engagements/5a8b8c0a-7a42-438b-9826-4013a1b4e58b) . Comments are due by March 24.

Meet Yvette Pullara
Meet Yvette Pullara, an Engineer III in the Mobility Department. She has worked for the City of Tampa for 23 years and her favorite part of her position is seeing the positive results of completed projects.
What do you like to do in your free time? I love to jetski with friends in my free time and watching some great local bands play.
What is your favorite meal to cook? My favorite meal to cook is steak and a nice salad, easy and delicious. My favorite meal to eat out is sushi.
What is your dream vacation? I would love to travel to Italy and Sicily one day soon to visit the place where my father’s family is from in Sicily.
What are you binging on Netflix right now? We just finished watching The Lincoln Lawyer and Your Honor.

The Forestry Division has completed 1,134 work orders so far in FY2025. 679 of these work orders were hurricane related. Putting that in perspective - in FY2024, they completed 568 work orders over the same period.
