Marvin Pierre were among 4000 Law Enforcement Officers sworn in for The 60th Inauguration of the President of the United States in Washington, DC. Our officers participated in serving/protecting the parade route during the inauguration ceremonies. Florida's Move Over Law: Stay Safe on the Road Florida law requires you to Move Over a lane for stopped law enforcement, emergency, sanitation, utility, tow trucks, maintenance vehicles, or any disabled vehicle with warning lights. If you can’t move over or are on a two-lane road, reduce your speed by 20 mph below the posted limit (or to 5 mph if the limit is 20 mph or less). In 2022, 170 crashes occurred, and over 14,000 citations were issued for violations of the Move Over law. Drivers aged 20-40 are statistically most likely to violate this law, risking the safety of law enforcement, first responders, service professionals, and motorists.
