EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Meet Alison Smith, a Digitization Supervisor in the City Clerk’s Office. She has worked for the City of Tampa for over six years, and enjoys that her position touches on her love of history. She often sees the original historical photos & documents up close and not just in a book.

What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy taking walks and spending time with my dog, Bunny. I also enjoy reading and binge-watching my favorite TV shows.

What is your favorite restaurant in Tampa? There are so many great restaurants in Tampa. I enjoy them all but my favorite is the Front Porch on Florida Ave.

What is your dream vacation? My dream vacation would be to visit Iceland in the summer, of course. It’s such a beautiful country.

What is your favorite holiday? My favorite holiday is Halloween. I love the fall and especially everything pumpkin spice.

What reality show would you want to be on? It’s not a reality show, but I would like to be on Jeopardy. I really enjoy trivia and think it would be fun to be on the show.
