The Other Innocence Project

We, The Other Innocence Project, are a non-profit organization founded to support parents and children separated by unjust family laws in Japan and around the world.
We identify and challenge the current legal systems that allow the removal of children across countries, parent-child disconnection and denial of basic human rights.
We also support and assist parents who wish to reunite with their children and restore ties.
We seek to raise awareness and promote reform on this issue in countries, including Japan, where the Hague Convention on Abduction is ignored despite being a signatory to the Convention.
We believe that all parents and children, regardless of nationality or place of residence, should have a loving and meaningful relationship.
